Litteracy and Buffaloaf
Yeah, that's right... LITTERacy...
I was at a park recently, and was quickly reminded that people here seem to be less and less able (or willing) to read. Clearly the directions were NOT followed in this case. It made me think of the people where I work (not necessarily for the company I work for, but in the same building) that are incapable of reading a no smoking sign. 3 entrances to the building and 2 are designated smoking, yet at least several times a week the 1 entrance I am supposed to be able to use without having an allergic reaction has a few people that stand smoking... right next to the sign. One of these days I'll have my camera on me and snap a shot, until then there's always the trash.

And as for the Buffaloaf. That's what we made for the little dog for the road trip. Buffalo meat loaf. With Buffalo (ok Bison... sheesh), a little oatmeal, some eggs, a scant handful of blueberries and cranberries, a smidgen of parsley, a dash of oregano, a decent helping of garlic, the ever important fruit/vegetable slurry**, and a touch of molasses. Roxie thinks it's fantastic, I think it smells like dog food.

** The slurry is a blended raw mixture of fruits, veggies, raw honey, and apple cider vinegar. It has contained any of the following items at any given batch: blueberries, raspberries, cranberries, apple, pear, kiwi, banana, strawberries, broccoli, green beans, mustard greens, yellow squash, zucchini, yam, carrot, spinach, and I'm sure several things I've forgotten. This provides her with a lot of various but essential nutrients that she wouldn't otherwise get unless we used some kind of over the counter supplement.
